Food databanks staff provided training during a recently completed EU-funded project. NASCENT; bringing a novel approach to help companies prepare EU- compliant food labels. During the project FDNC delivered training on the use of food composition data, calculations for nutritional labelling and data quality and validation as well as activities on nutritional services business development and marketing.
