Paul Finglas, Head of Food Databanks, attended the IMEKO Foods Conference on 17th September 2020. He gave a plenary talk on “The Food Nutrition Security Cloud in Europe” and explained how it’s vision aims to help overcome fragmentation of food and nutrition data in Europe.
IMEKO Foods is dedicated to metrology in food and nutrition, with the 5th conference entitled “Metrology for sustainable food production”. The conference, held as a hybrid virtual-live event, ran from the 16-18th Sep and was hosted by the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. The 6th IMEKO Foods conference is scheduled for 8-11th November 2022 in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
